About the position:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations. The Construction Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
What you will do:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to establish project goals and objectives.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate budgetary risks.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and manpower.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that construction activities comply with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety inspections, provide training to workers, and address safety concerns promptly to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Anticipate and address project challenges, such as weather delays, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory changes, to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, address stakeholder inquiries and concerns, and facilitate effective communication among project team members.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and achievements.
Qualifications:
  • Previous construction management experience
  • Telecommunications industry experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
